Elliott Bay Totem Pole

The iconic 32-foot-tall totem pole at Centennial Park, situated along the stunning Elliot Bay waterfront, has been a cherished symbol since its creation in 1975. In 2009, Integrated Design Engineers undertook a vital restoration project, designing a new concrete foundation to ensure its longevity and stability. This included a secure bollard post that safely anchors the totem pole to the foundation. This totem pole resides in Port of Seattle's Centennial Park on the Elliott Bay waterfront. The totem pole was made in 1975, and this restoration and relocation work occurred in 2009.

Our work has not only preserved this cultural landmark but also enhanced its resilience against the elements, ensuring that it continues to stand tall for generations to come.
